Julep introduced this lovely collection set for The Wizard of Oz 75th anniversary. There's really no truly capturing how shiny and beautiful this set is, but I know I'm definitely keeping the box.
The front of the box is holographic, and so is the inside.
From top to bottom;
Ruby Slippers - Full-coverage red multidimensional glitter; This is very tiny red glitter suspended in a clear base. Would be beautiful as a top coat, or several coats on it's own.
Tin Man - Silver holographic; I agree with many of other Mavens, Julep just doesn't do enough of these holographic, fun colors. I think they have some wonderful glitters, but too many cremes. They don't even need to release them as a monthly box option, maybe just a set, see how it sells, then introduce a few into a monthly box. Either way, this is beautiful and I can't wait to try one of their only holographic polishes.
Glinda the Good Witch - Pink frost; A lovely color for spring, the frost makes it a little different from the menagerie of other pink colors I have.
Emerald City - Emerald crème; A very pretty green-teal color, it does stain your nails quite a bit, so use a base coat. I tried this in my St. Patrick's Day mani.
This collection retails for $56, ($44.80 for Mavens), but I was able to add this on to another purchase for only $19.99, which is the right price I think. Anything more and it's just not worth it to me. It's a beautiful collection to add to my nail polishes, and I'm glad i got it. I don't know if I'm creative enough to find a design that uses all 4 colors, but I think they'd be great separately as well.
