Wantable Intimates March 2014 Review

Wantable is a subscription service that offers several subscription plans, including a makeup box, a jewelry box, and this one that I have here, an intimates box. They have a unique subscription service because they allow returns on the full box, or sometimes on partial boxes.

Wantable is shipped via USPS First-Class, and it's shipped from Wisconsin. My box took a little detour to New York before it finally arrived in California in 4 days. It was technically late, so I don't know if the detour to New York is normal. If it hadn't done that it probably would have arrived in 2-3 days.

Here's what I received:

I've seen other people's Wantable Intimates boxes and theirs were large. Mine was very tiny, so I was a little worried that because it was my first month, I didn't get some of the great items others received.

Panty Bikini Stretch Mesh Purple - ($12) Even though I'm not even 25 yet, (almost, in April I will be) I feel like these are a little too young for me. Maybe when I was 15. I don't care for the colors or the see thru mesh. RETURNED.

Lacy Boyshort Coral - ($20) These are kind of cute, more my style but still not quite perfect. RETURNED.

Big Dot Socks Grey/Yellow - ($12) These were about the only thing I liked from this box. Sadly though, because I didn't like the rest of the box, I returned these as well to basically try again and see if the next box is better. I have heard getting your settings right takes some tweaking and I want to give them a fair chance. RETURNED.

Betsey Johnson Tee Think Pink - ($32) This also looks like something for a teenager, I want basic, classy items. Hot pink is probably my least favorite color, and I don't want studs on a sleep shirt. RETURNED.

Here's a look at everything in my box. Sadly, I am returning the whole box. I have heard that getting your profile right takes some tweaking, so I want to try again to see if I can get a better box next month. While I liked the boy shorts and socks, I didn't love them. If I decide to keep the box I want to love a few of the items, and like the rest at the very least.

I paid $32 for this box with a discount I had for 10% off and received $76 worth of items. Overall, I think this box had a good "value", but it doesn't really matter because I didn't like my items and I'm returning the whole thing. I've adjusted my profile, and I'm crossing my fingers for a better April box because it's my birthday month!

Wantable Intimates is $36 a month if you subscribe, or if you just want to purchase a one-off month, it's $40. You can set your profile, to "love", "like", or "dislike" items, and you'll receive more items you "love" and never any you "dislike". The also offer jewelry and makeup boxes as well.
