The Beauteque Head to Toe Breakfast Bag arrived, and I couldn't wait to review it! This is just the cutest theme, and I couldn't wait for a few of the items. If you're unfamiliar with these bags, they are one-off themed bags that you can purchase whenever you want. Most of them before have been an ingredient theme, like milk or snail, but this bag's theme was breakfast! Beauteque kindly sent me this bag for review purposes.
I like how roomy the bag is this month, everything but the apron fit inside of it.
Here's the info card this month, very easy to read and I like that you can see what each product looks like.
Cherry Apron - ($15)
This is the item I was irrationally excited about. I cook all the time and yet I did not have an apron, until now. This apron is a good size, and can be easily cleaned. No pockets which is a bummer, but I needed an apron so badly! I can't wait to make a really messy meal with this on.
Evas Vitamin Cleansing Foam - ($10)
I've recently become more knowledgeable about what ph cleansers are supposed to have, and this one is a 9.5-10...which is way higher than it should be, so I won't be using this unfortunately.
Too Cool For School Egg Cream Mask - ($5)
I always love a good sheet mask, and I've never used an egg mask before. This one should be interesting, and I like the interesting shape the packaging has. It's not just the typical rectangle shape. I also appreciate that the back has the directions in English! Always a nice feature when you don't have your info sheet handy.
From Nature e Choice Fermented Tea Drinks Sleeping Pack - ($12)
First thing I do whenever I get a new skincare product is smell it. If it smells pleasant then it already has points in my book. This one smells lovely, and it's not too strong either. This sleeping pack is meant to be rinsed off in the morning so take note of that before using.
Skinfood Bath Fizzer - ($12)
There are two round bath fizzys inside this egg carton-like container. I opted for the Honey Salt scent, and these smell amazing! Pretty sure there is jasmine in this one, because it has the lovely scent of jasmine and honey. The downside is that this container is not very useful once you've removed the shrink wrap. The bath fizzys create a fine dust powder everywhere, so you may need to store these somewhere special before using both.
Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk - ($10)
The packaging for this hand cream is really cute, and the lotion itself isn't greasy. The banana scent is ok, but mostly reminds me of banana taffy. I really wish subscription boxes would lay off sending so much hand cream, I never use it, and it's in just about every box I get. When that happens, it starts to just feel like a cheap filler item. Just something to throw in because they can.
Etude House In Spoon Scrub Massage Yogurt - ($6)
I picked one in raspberry and the other in sugar apple. These little sample massage creams are meant to be massaged into the face for 2-3 minutes and then cleanse your face with water. I actually like that these are sample foils, because I do travel and I don't like to take my full size skincare regime with me. It's too bulky so I use that as an opportunity to take my samples to use up. These will be perfect for travel.
Overall, the Beauteque Head to Toe Breakfast Bag had a total value of $70, which is pretty good. I think the highlights for me are the apron and bath fizzys. Unfortunately, I will probably be tossing the cleansing foam, as I won't use it, and I wouldn't want to give that to someone to use either. There is so much emphasis on the right ph in cleansers in the K-beauty community, that it still surprises me that there so many cleansers with such a high ph on the market. I know it's easier and cheaper to formulate a cleanser with a high ph than one with the correct lower ph, but cleansers are a dime a dozen. Just like hand cream. I've found a cleanser I like with the correct ph, I'd rather not receive cleansers or hand creams so often in beauty bags. I really enjoyed the theme this month though, it was right up my alley!

I always love your Beautique reviews. I think I might need to try one someday. I thought the apron was so cute! And pockets in aprons aren't super necessary anyway. 😊
