March, April, and May Empties

I was doing my empties on my YouTube channel, but lately I just haven't had time to film. We'll see how that goes, but to catch up, I have my March, April, and May empties! There wasn't a whole lot for May, but there were a couple things I don't have photos of because I finished them over at B's. But I'd say for three months, it was quite a lot of stuff I finished up!

March:

Black Violet Superfruit Creme Cleanser -

I absolutely love this facial cleanser, so much so that I stocked up and currently have four big jars of it. Two of those are opened, one at my house and one at B's. It clears up any blemishes I have, and I can really tell when I haven't used it in a couple of days.

Skin Factory 7 Seconds Morning Sheets -

These sheets are great in the morning when you want to do your skincare routine, but just don't have the time. I would leave these at B's because we're always rushing out the door in the morning, so it was quick and easy to use. I didn't find that they really helped my skin though, it didn't look as amazing as I have heard from other reviewers. It was mostly a time saving step for me.

Fortune Cookie Soap The Shiz Foaming Hand Soap -

I actually really don't like this soap. It's OK, but the scent isn't strong, it doesn't last, and the soap itself doesn't have enough slip. It feels really dry on your hands when using it, and after it makes my hands feel really dry. I bought a bunch of these before I knew how I liked the formula, so I will probably have to power through them this fall and winter.

Black Violet Chamomile Lavender Tonique -

I liked the smell of this tonique more than the other one, but it was such a small sample size I really had no idea how it worked for my skin. Even with two small bottles, I couldn't really notice any differences. This one did smell good though, and was calming enough to use at night.

Black Violet Rosemary Geranium Tonique -

Again, I'm not really sure how I liked this for my skin. I didn't like the scent of this one as much as the Chamomile Lavender.

Skinfood Thermal Water Mask Sheet -

This sheet mask was nice, I don't remember it being anything super special though. I do remember it being inexpensive, as I did go to the Skinfood store and purchase this, instead of receiving it in a subscription.

It's Skin Mangosteen Lip and Eye Remover Tissue -

These were awesome, they smelled great, they removed all of my makeup, and felt moisturizing to boot.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes -

I've used these before, but this mini pack I got as part of a gift. I think they are good for the price, but not necessarily the best makeup remover wipes I've ever used. They are definitely worth trying though if you are looking for a makeup remover wipe. Kind of the gold standard for drugstore brand wipes.

Fortune Cookie Soap Tree of Life Steam Me Up Scotty -

By now, you may have noticed I really like these shower steamers from Fortune Cookie Soap. I really don't take baths, so anytime I can have a scent experience in the shower, I am happy. And this is one of my favorite scents, it's very green and fresh smelling. Great for in the morning when you're trying to wake up.

Fortune Cookie Soap Poisonous Fog Steam Me Up Scotty -

I love this scent as well, it's like a sweet vanilla scent with a bit of mystery to it. It was a surprise favorite when I purchased it for the first time.

Haus of Gloi First Blush Whipped Soap -

I absolutely love the Haus of Gloi whipped soap formula, and practically any of their scents smell good in it. This was a lovely peach and lavender scent, and it was just perfect as a whipped soap.

Haus of Gloi Ploughman Whipped Soap -

My new favorite Haus of Gloi scent, I actually already have another jar of this open in my shower right now.

Haus of Gloi Snow Wolf Whipped Soap -

I bought this, and found that B really liked the scent and the whipped soap formula as well, so he used this up. Not technically my empty, but I did originally purchase it, so I think it should count!

Fortune Cookie Soap Futterwacken Steam Me Up Scotty -

I really liked the body wash in this scent, but I found the shower steamer a bit lacking. It just smelled quite different, and it didn't seem to be very strong.

Fortune Cookie Soap It's Only A Dream Steam Me Up Scotty -

Even if I don't love the scent in the product we get it in the soap box, I usually really like it in the shower steamer. This one was really florally, but not bad.

Fortune Cookie Soap Hodor Hodor Hodor Steam Me Up Scotty -

This is one of my favorite FCS scents, and I absolutely loved the shower steamers. It smells green, fresh, and like tomato vines.

Up & Up Eye Makeup Remover Liquid -

I bought this Target brand makeup remover for swatches, just to see how I liked it. It was ok, I was hoping it would be like this one Rimmel one I tried that I cannot find in stores. It wasn't even close, it's more similar to the Neutrogena remover. I do like having a liquid makeup remover around though for applying to Q tips and removing small mess-ups.

H2O Plus Dual Action Eye Makeup Remover -

This was something I got in a swap, and again it was ok. I was using it for the same sort of purpose, in the bathroom for small mess-ups.

Purederm Make-up Cleaning Tissues -

These were absolutely awful, they didn't remove a damn thing. I tried using them for just swatches but they would just rub the eyeshadow around instead of actually removing it. I just had to eventually give up and toss these.

Black Violet Mister Green Phyto Mist -

I loved this sample of the new hair detangling spray from Black Violet, I actually already repurchased a bigger size of it. The scent is super green smelling, and I like the new formula.

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk -

This was a small sample from a gift, and I already knew I liked this dry shampoo. This is the aerosol version, but I think I prefer the non-aerosol one that you squeeze and it puffs out into your hair. It seems to last much longer than the spray, I have had mine for probably at least 6 months and there's still a ton left.

Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet Mango -

I really loved this sheet mask, it was one of the first I found that actually seemed to fit my face well. And it smelled so fruity.

From Nature Multi Effect Collagen Honey Mask -

I typically tend to like honey masks, and this one was good. Nothing incredible, but good.

I liked this mask, it was a new brand for me, and their masks are actually pretty good quality.

Honest Company Honest Multi-Surface Cleaner -

I've had this little sample for quite a while, but finally finished it up. It smelled like grapefruit, and I loved the scent. It didn't smell like a typical cleaner. The only downside to repurchasing is that I'd have to go through their website and pay shipping.

Laneige BB Cushion -

I've had this for almost a year and I never used it. I had to give up and throw it out, it's just not the right shade for me. It's the lightest shade they have, but still too dark and too yellow for me.

Tony Moly Red Cheeks Girl's Patch -

These cheek patches are so silly and just slide down your face as soon as you put them on. They're too thick and too heavy to stay in place, even when you're laying down. Just use a sheet mask instead.

I had another one of these that I used up. Like I said before, they are great for time saving in the morning, but didn't do anything extra special to my skin.

Sugar & Spite Blue Wax Slice -

This was a freebie wax tart slice I received in my last Sugar & Spite order, and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, it's not for sale separately, so I can't repurchase. This tart lasted almost a week before it died.

Haus of Gloi Selkie Whipped Soap -

I finished this up at B's. I travelled with it and it sort of settled weirdly, so it seemed like there was much less in there than when I originally got it in the mail. It may have been sitting in the heat, I'm not sure, but that's why I was able to use it so quickly. I also shared it with B and his brother when we were on a vacation, so I wasn't the only one using it. I love this scent in the whipped soap, even though the perfume didn't work for me.

Innisfree Green Tea Serum -

I have a bunch of samples from Innisfree, and I just keep them in my skincare travel bag for when I go to B's. I finally used up this small foil packet, and actually got quite a few uses out of it. It doesn't do anything really amazing or bad to my skin though, so it works.
